Visita guidata alle prove di risposta irrigua di diversi portinnesti del pero - 20 agosto 2015

Stefano Anconelli del Consorzio del Canale Emiliano Romagnolo e Luigi Manfrini dell'Università di Bologna presentano le prove sperimentali, portate avanti in collaborazione anche con Crpv di Cesena e Fondazione Navarra di Ferrara (che le ha ospitate), che riguardano le risposte a diverse metodologie di irrigazione di differenti portinnesti del pero. Le prove sono state realizzate nell'ambito della legge regionale 28/98: ricerca e innovazione a supporto delle produzioni agricole delle zone colpite dal sisma del 20 e 29 Maggio 2012.

Acqua in mostra - Campo dimostrativo impianti irrigui (campo mostra)

The permanent exhibition on irrigation technologies aims providing farmers and technicians with up to date information about on shelf irrigation technologies. Water saving novel technologies are presented to end users and Extension Services drawing attention on the opportunities to improve irrigation water management at field or farm scale. Irrigation technologies are showed off in open field and fully operating. More than 50 models of drippers, 80 mini and micro sprinklers, movable sprinkler solid sets, pumps, filters, fertigation dosing or injection pumps are displayed and upgraded every year. Visitors are offered with a collection of publications popularizing bench test results of microirrigation devices, most of them included in the show, studies on irrigation technical-economic aspects and on irrigation water saving management. Students from High School of Agriculture and Agricultural Universities can take a practical class on irrigation technologies visiting the Permanent Exhibition. The permanent exhibition offers the opportunity to the local, national and international water stakeholders to provide basic operational knowledge addressing a more efficient water use besides the water distribution.
Results obtained so far (quantitative/qualitative)

Stimulation of a water saving awareness and culture among end users. Fast and wide dissemination of novel irrigation technologies, boosting adoption of the more efficient technologies.
Success factors (which element/s led to the success of the project)

Training by demonstration and opportunity to check devices while operating. Direct contact with experts and manufacturer. Involvement of private companies manufacturing irrigation equipment in a public private partnership (PPP).
Performance indicators (related to success factors)

Since 1989 an average of 15 groups/350 persons per year attended the Open Days (10 events per year), totalling about 8500 farmers, technicians and students.
Repeatability & Applicability (why and how this experience is replicable and applicable in other contexts)

Similar exhibition on irrigation technologies can be easily set up everywhere. Permanent exhibitions on irrigation technologies were set up in other Italian regions (Campania, Molise, Apulia, Sardinia) under CER supervision.
